Spicy Roasted Butter Beans
Ingredients
- 1 can butter beans
- 1 tbsp garlic olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp chilli powder
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 180C.
- Dain and rinse the beans, then dry them with kitchen towel. Make sure they’re completely dry or they won’t crisp up in the oven.
- In a bowl, mix the beans together the olive oil, spices, salt and pepper. Give everything a good mix together and make sure the beans are well coated in the spicy oil.
- Line a baking sheet & spread the beans out.
- Pop into the oven & roast for 35-40 minutes, by which time the beans will have become lovely and crispy.
- Sprinkle with freshly chopped coriander & a little extra salt.
